Lil Louisiana Cookbook Comic

Pitch comic pages and artwork for a cookbook full of Cajun and Creole family recipes. I'm from South East Louisiana, and have dozens of family recipes (etouffe, stuffed mirliton, boiled seafood) that would make an amazing cook together cookbook for kids. This pitch utilizes Kara and Naomi, from my comic 7" Kara, but in the original pitch, I suggested several other characters.

Pages were spot color and inked traditionally on watercolor paper, scanned, and lettered digitally. Pitch minicomic was laid out in Affinity Publisher.
